Mrs. Riggs is married to her best friend–her husband, Bill. They have two grown sons, Jonathan, and Jackson; and two crazy dogs who are like children. They live in the Dan Mills community and she’s been teaching at Dan Mills for 18 years! All of those years have been spent in kindergarten or first grade and she says she never wants to teach anywhere else! Live every moment, love beyond words, laugh every day.
What is your favorite thing about DMES?
I love that we are a family! Relationships are important to me, and Dan Mills is full of so much love!
What does a typical Saturday night look like for you?
A bowl of popcorn, dogs beside me, watching Live PD.

Where do you go when you need some inspiration?
The outdoors. I can conquer anything with a little nature therapy.

Who was your favorite teacher when you were in school, and what was it about them that you loved?
Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Green- they both loved me for who I was and encouraged me to do great things.
