Be a PTO Volunteer!
Did you know that ALL Dan Mills family members (parents, grandparents, guardians) and staff members are automatically members of our PTO? While we welcome donations, we DO NOT charge membership dues. Everyone is welcome and included!
Our PTO is successful because of our amazing volunteers. We appreciate you, and we value your involvement and dedication to your child's education! Whether you have ample time to give or just a few minutes here and there, we can use your help. We would love to know your areas of interest or expertise!
Below you will find current and upcoming volunteer opportunities at Dan Mills Elementary School. Please check back often as this list will be updated regularly as more volunteer opportunities become available.
Towards the bottom of the page there is a general volunteer form - if you are interested in assisting in a way not listed, have a special talent or area of expertise or would like to be added to our volunteer mailing list to be notified when new opportunities become available please complete the “Be a PTO Volunteer!” form below.
We look forward to meeting you and having your assistance throughout the school year to make Dan Mills a wonderful place for our Dragons to attend school!

TEACHER HAPPY CART
Once a month, we want to provide the teachers and staff with a little treat - Ugly Mugs coffee, baked goods and other snacks. Two volunteers are needed to roll the cart around the school building according to a set schedule (we are looking forward to the return of this volunteer opportunity of rolling the cart soon!). It’s a fun and easy way to be involved!
Volunteers are also needed each month to provide baked goods or treats for the happy cart (around 20 servings of cookies, muffins, brownies, etc.). The treats can be dropped off in the office by 8:10am on the chosen date.
