Kindergarten parents wiped away tears as they contemplated the year ahead, while returning parents celebrated on the lawn. It was an exciting day for everyone, as teachers and students (and parents - of course) came together to begin a new school year. Perhaps most exciting was the leadership offered by our new principal, Mr. Robby Yates. The more we get to know him, the better we feel about having to say goodbye to our beloved Mrs. Patti Yon. While we'll always miss her welcoming presence, it's good to know that Dan Mills is in the very capable hands of Mr. Yates and our wonderful assistant principal Dr. Sherleta Sanders.
